Dante Direct: October!!!!

HELLO! Happy October!

We got changes, we got new things, so let's get this started!

Art and Graphics
I am finally working with an artist! Marco Pirotta, which you can find here
I am very happy with how the Vredefort came out, which wow! you can see in the banner at this point! I am very happy in general with how the big lad turned out!
In addition, the OPVS/C logo is done! made by me, I'm very happy with how it came out in general, the idea of abstracting the letters and splitting them in half, making essentially a tag.

New Document!!!
Woah! New Document??? AYE YO???
But in all seriousness, meet the Traveler's Guide to Dante. This, (like everything else currently) is a WIP.
What is the difference between the Traveler's Guide to Dante and Field Guide?
Well, I got some wonderful advice in general from other GMs and in particular, this wonderful article, Good Lore/Bad Loreby Ben Laurence helped me to figure out why to me the Field Guide felt like too much. And what I decided was if I wanted to be able to run Dante and give someone a primer on the world, I needed a shorter streamlined document that anyone could use.
So that is what this document is for. It gives a basic overview of the different planets, Adantan culture, esperant, the fractal moon, and important history.
This document is meant to be free and outline
So what this means is this document is always going to have some information but not everything. Other details such as "What is in the Scorn?" Would be in the Field Guide/GM's Guide to Dante.
This document once again is meant to be a shorter overview, something you can give to players to make characters or explore concepts

Finally, the LCP Changes!

You may have noticed that the LCP changed alot from 1.0 to 1.3
This is due to getting more eyes on it and useful information from other Lancer Creators and Feedback!
So we did as well start adding more Exotics, as well as some new general systems and pilot gear things.
So without further ado! LCP changes and updates:

LL0
- GMS LL0 mods
added a set of LL0 mods for any weapon to equip. These are 2 SP mods which just add a tag

OPVS/C
Kaali
- Isopleth Skirmish is 2 heat now, not 1
- Boreaus Squall now adds +1 difficulty on attacks you make +slowed

Nordlinger
- Maggot injector on crit regains up to 5 HP based on damage
- Primordia's Webbing: 2 heat instead of 1, and save is now for lock-on
- Hyphae Seeker Rounds now requires you to take some amount of heat to activate the effect.
- Awaken Devour: clarified wordings

- Core Power: Double time crescendo now makes your reactions hyper. Interrupts, cannot be reacted to
- Off Beat Pick up: the effect is a reaction
- Resonant Click: effect changed slighty. You have to take another reaction on the same target
- PolyRhythm: When you react, an ally may take a overwatch, if an enemy has a reaction, you get to yoink the reaction

Paw

Magra
- Nanorazer: Gained AP
- David Class: the conditions and statuses are specified

Fu
- clarified Jester's Tooling: Turns the attack into a different ranged weapon type
- Added Acrobat's: new trait to gain accuracy 1/R as long as you are engaged

Talents
Massacre
So many updates, mainly the Talent Level 3 stuff has been changed
Regulated
First level now deals with reducing heat, and the other levels now deal with enviormental effects
Warped
alot of changes as well, names, how the NHP works, and finally alot of wording changes!

Why these changes?
I was simply taking a look at everything and there are still mechs and things that need to be really sharpened.
In general, the GWA mechs, specifically Paw and Tae Kwon need more changes and I have my eye on them for October.

October Goals???
Well! I am prepping for my first actual playtest this month! That is the main thing. Taking a bit of a break from writing and grinding and cranking so I can focus on actual player feedback and GM feedback for tuning!!!
The goal of the project on the mechanical side is to make a supplement that GMs would be comfortable using, and something that can be in line with Core! So that means I will have to do many many playtests to make this work!

Happy Spooky Month and another update will come in November!!!!
